Bustin'
Who's she gonna call?

Sam ain't afraid of no ghost. Love, on the other hand....

Forget everything you think you know about werewolves and
vampires, boggiemen and Bogeys. There's something strange in the
neighborhood, and Sam Hammett's not going to call anyone. Her
family runs their own paranormal investigation and elimination
business --- Paranormal Pest Pursuers, Inc.--- unrivalled by anyone
except Monsters "R Us, their new competitors recently arrived from
Russia. And from the look of that crew, and Nicolas Strakhov, their
boss, the war to come will be anything but cold. Luckily, business is
booming, what with Andy the soup-can painting phantom, and the
strange creature stoning New York, so Sam'll soon be bustin' up,
bustin' down - bustin' every which way but loose. And there's the
ghost of a chance she'll fall in love, too.

Premieres in January, 2007

"...Strange that so many people who die can't find their way into
Heaven or Hell," Nic remarked.

"Yes, and over seventy percent of those ghosts are male. That's
why female spooks are at a permium. I can place a female
phantom almost anywhere," Sam informed the handsome Russian
prince.

"Why is the percentage so high for men, do you think?" He asked,
knowing by the expression on her face that she was going to say
something outrageous.

"I was probably about twelve when I asked my mother that same
question. I didn't really get her answer then, but now I do."

"What did she say?" Nic new by her expression that Sam was
fixing to pull what American's called "a fast one on him." Still, he
decided to sit back and enjoy the ride.

"That ghosts were spirits who had gotten lost on their way to
Heaven and Hell. Then she asked if it was really surprising,
because when did a man ever stop to ask for directions, alive or
dead?"
